School of Survey Methodology

An important task consists in establishing survey methodology in research and training as an independent and coherent subject. In addition to that, the programme intends to strengthen the importance and visibility of this subject in the international competition by creating a sufficiently large and competitive scientific community of survey researchers. This requires the establishment of corresponding training capacities. A central institutional objective is correspondingly a "German School of Survey Methodology" (working title).
